Serving the Lord Family Style

The annual National Day Of Prayer is Thursday, May 4th.  The Twin Cities Ministerial Association of Niceville and Valparaiso will sponsor the National Day of Pray observance for the twin-cities area.  The service will begin promptly at 12-noon on the steps to City Hall in Niceville and will conclude no later than 1 pm.  Pre-service music will begin at 11:30 am.

The National Day of Prayer will have profound significance for our country.  It is an unprecedented opportunity to see the Lord’s healing and renewing power made manifest as we call on citizens to humbly come before His throne.   As the 2023 National Day of Prayer on May 4th approaches, thousands of individuals, churches, and communities will be working to rally millions of Christian’s to once again heed this call!

Prayers will be offered by various pastors in our community, lifting up all our leaders locally and in our state and our country, including our public servants like our first responders, and our military.

The National Day of Prayer tradition predates the founding of the United States of America, evidenced by the Continental Congress’ proclamation in 1775 setting aside a day of prayer.  In 1952, Congress established an annual day of prayer and, in 1988, that law was amended, designating the National Day of Prayer as the first Thursday in May.
